Blogging and the quality of writing

I am very conscious of the fact that my blog writing is frequently hap-hazard. This is especially true when I write an entry that has been sparked by the entry on anther blog.
Part of this is due to trying to get a post up in a timely manner. The speed of blogging is such that waiting to key off the post from another blog until you have a full essay in hand might, and probably will, put your post online way too late to be relevant. By that time the topic has moved on. Part of the problem is my own input-output problems, which I am beginning to recognize as a disability. I suppose one would call this a learning disability, but I would prefer process disability because my intellect is just fine, thank you. I will have to write more about this another time. The questions is: Do I go back and re-edit past posts? or Should I write a new post when I have had the time and patience to write well, with more precision, and with more ducks (as in having your ducks lined up)?
