This is the best description I have read of what is happening with the MSM. However, it only explains the"how" and not the "why."
The Main Stream Media has embarrassed itself over and over again. And however venal they may be, they are not all that stupid. What's really bizarre is the infrequent times that they seem to get their self-respect back for one or two stories and then it's almost as if someone gave their necks a yank and they go back to acting like idiots.
Do they feel superior to us? The fact that the Democrats have not found a way to deal with their media hash means their whoring means nothing?
Let's say that in the future our political fortunes reverse. Do they think they're going to come through this unscathed? Or do they have enough money socked away not to care?
